A total of 315,725 Ukrainians have used the right to change polling place at the presidential election in Ukraine on March 31.
Head of the State Voter Register Administration Oleksandr Stelmakh stated this at a round table meeting, Ukrinform reports.

“Speaking about the list of reasons for a temporary change in voting place, then first of all, the actual residence of voters is not the place of their registration,” he said.

Almost 25% of 315,725 citizens indicated this reason in their applications, Stelmakh noted.

At the same time, he said that there were a certain number of refusals to Ukrainian citizens in a temporary change of polling place. In total, there were 1,416 such refusals.

According to Stelmakh, the most common cause of denials was the absence of such citizens in the voter register.
