US Special Counsel Robert Mueller has finished his investigation of alleged Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election in the United States, the US Department of Justice said on Friday.
Mueller's confidential report has been delivered to Attorney General William Barr. In a letter to House and Senate judiciary leaders, Barr told them that he "may be in a position to advise you of the special counsel's principal conclustions as soon as this weekend."
